Elite Dance Performing Team Auditions! Sunday, October 28th @ 7pm. Elite Dance International is starting a new, non-profit performance dance company. Selected dancers will meet for practice three (3) times a week and will be performing within the community, and national, and international competitions, and worldwide events. A nominal fee will apply to cover the cost of costumes and studio costs. Elite Performing Team Company is new to South Carolina. Our styles include Ballroom, Latin, Jazz, Balet, Hip Hop, Lyrical, and Contemporary with a focus on Ballroom & Latin Showdances. Our performances will include corporate events, national & international competitions, festivals, educational shows, backup dancers to singers/dancers, sports events, charities and other major events. We are going to offer flexible rehearsals and show dates to our dancers. Many of our dancers have other careers or very busy lives, yet still want the opportunity to keep dancing at a professional level with a limited time commitment. We set high professional standards and the only way to achive them is with mature and responsible dancers. We provide shows, routines, costumes/uniforms and we will expect dancers to have the skills and ability to learn routines fairly quickly. We are looking for about 10-15 dancers to join our team. Some performances only require 4-6 dancers, sports events usually requires 8-10 dancers. Maintaining 10-15 dancers allows us to not require all dancers to do all shows. We hope many dancers will stay with our company for years and help us built something that is absolutely new to this region.
